The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an action-adventure game developed by Beenox and published by Activision. This game was released on April 29, 2014, for PS4, PS3, Xbox, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo, PC, and Wii U. The game is based on Marvel's comic superhero Spider-Man and similar to the 2014 film 'Amazing Spider-Man 2'. But this game has its own storyline that is beyond the movie. 

Key Features: 
  1. Story & Setting: This game is set in the City of New York where Spider-Man takes down Uncle Ben's killer while on his mission to save the city from various villains. Players can now explore Manhattan with more landmarks and frequent crimes. 
  2. Characters: 
    • Peter Parker/Spider-Man: The main character who is balancing his personal and superhero life. 
    • Villains: The game has various villains including Electro, Kingpin, Green Goblin, Black Cat, and Kraven the Hunter. 
    • Supporting Characters: Characters such as Aunty May, Mary Jane Watson, and Harry Osborn.
  3. Gameplay Mechanics: The most unique feature is web-swinging. It is available in all the games but it gives the player a unique and satisfying feeling of swinging throughout the city. In addition, there are new melee attacks, environmental takedowns, and web-based moves. Players can be affected by their duties. If you successfully complete the mission and take down the enemies then there will be your respect or if you fail in your missions then there will be a lot more police crimes than mutuality. 
  4. Side Activities: There are random crimes that are for your better stats like, car chases, hostage situations, and mugging. For extra income, you may apply for a photography job and take daily photos of Bugle and Crimes. Lastly, there are various collectibles like logos, comic-book pages, and many more. 
  5. Visuals & Audio: The game features detailed and more realistic characters, models, and environment.
